Painted Princess’ new room. HATE it.
Painted Isaac’s room. HATE it.
Too worn out to repaint anything.
Disappointed.
A little ticked off.
Hoping to wake up loving it in the morning.
Not too optimistic.

Okay, have you moved stuff into the rooms yet? Accessories? Furniture? Decor? That might help a bunch…hope it looks better tomorrow!
Comment by Judy July 5, 2008 @ 3:29 amHey – what if I told you that to paint out livingroom, kitchen, stairway, upstairs hallway, and Michael’s bathroom cost us $1500 plus about $200 in paint? Maybe that will make you feel better about the job you did?
IF you ever do decide to re-do, I have some great recommendations on paint types and colors. We did the girl’s room in Dulux/ICI paint in “soft yellow” (that was really the name), and pure white ceiling and trim paint. It looked awesome, but then again, my dad’s an architect, so the painting HE did was actually better than the painter we hired to do the rest.
We STILL need to do the master bedroom, but it has high ceilings and is gi-normous, so will cost us another $750 give or take.
How’s that for a pep-talk??
