SIGN ME UP! LOL
First of all, my husband would have to be IN TOWN for 30 days…that, in itself would be a miracle.
Comment by Judy February 19, 2008 @ 8:52 pmI’m guessing if it was a woman pastor, that challenge wouldn’t have been made.
By the way–I love the new pics you have at the top of your blog!
Comment by karenh February 20, 2008 @ 1:34 amWow!! I told my dh he laughed. I think making a commitment to connect with your spouse every day is important. We can connect without having sex.
Comment by Lisa February 20, 2008 @ 3:34 amI’d love it…at least I think I would…it might get boring if we HAD to…but I think the pastor has the right idea. We need to make time for each other every day to keep those home fires going.
Comment by sunshine February 22, 2008 @ 3:57 amHmmmm–that just might reduce divorce!
I think the pastor has a great point.
Comment by jettybetty February 23, 2008 @ 9:17 pmUm, wow? I’m not sure which part worried me more, the fact that the pastor was only encouraging his non-married couples to abstain from sex for 30 days, not until the got married, or the guy who seemed really excited about the fact he could one day tell his wife that he went without sex for a whole month, just for her! Yeah, because that’s what I’m looking for in a husband, a guy who tried to obey a commandment for just a month, not forever. Hmm…
Comment by Holly February 25, 2008 @ 8:11 amI didn’t watch the video before…just read the overview. But yeah, not so sure about the single part of that…what do YOU think about it?
