I mean seriously. Seriously. Princess and Speedy have had runny noses for the last few weeks. Cough. Congestion. Both of them finished up an antibiotic yesterday. I was sick yesterday and the day before (and thankfully, had help from mom and mil so I could stay in bed). I wake up feeling better than I have in afew days (maybe because I did a few shots of Nyquil before bedtime). Speedy wakes up puking. Poor baby. He seems fine now but he’s thrown up three times this morning. Could be just drainage – it did look a lot like snot. HAH AHA I know, TMI!
Seriously, though. Can’t we all just be well?

Let me give you a little perspective. We haven’t all been healthy at the same time since June of 07.
The head cold keeps circulating. I’ve had it twice, and so have some of the others. Only one of our kids has not been sick at least once.
so, I repeat, Can’t WE all just be well???

I’m not a big proponent of the whole anti-bacterial gel stuff because I’m all about building our immune systems and natural bacteria and all, but when the sickies just won’t go away, it is time to sterilize everything and start all over. Fumigate one room, slather up the kids, and let them stay there while you work down another spot. When I did it, the diligence of cleaning that much almost did me in, but in a week’s time, everyone was well again.
